Individual Items
Most dishes are shot from 45 degrees to best display the contents of the dish. Most delivery platforms require the images to contain only the dish the customer will receive and no other sides etc.
Some dishes such as pizzas may be shot from above and sandwiches and burgers may be shot from a lower angle to best display them.

FAQs for Delivery platform shoots

Depending on the time it takes to prepare your meals you can either prepare them in advance, or wait until I arrive and set up (15 mins) if the dishes do not take long to prepare.
The food doesn’t necessarily need to be hot for the photographs, but it must look fresh and cooked so it is the same as the customer would expect to receive it.

The food is not styled by a ‘food stylist’, it will photographed the same way it is served to accurately represent what the customer will receive.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking, with the remainder due after approval of the preview images.
The deposit is non-refundable but we will accept changes to the shoot date without charge, given adequate notice. Price includes VAT -
The shoot takes place at your premises. A large table with reasonable space around it for photography equipment is required to photograph the food on, this will be the background/surface in the photographs so should match your brand style. Along with a few spare tables to place the food waiting to be photographed.
No daylight is required as all professional portable equipment will be brought to the shoot. -
You choose what dishes you would like photographed. It is recommended to choose a variety of dishes that represent your full menu, starters, mains, side dishes etc. It is advised to include any signature dishes that represent your brand.
For the hero shot it is advised have have a good variety of colourful dishes that represent your brand and range of food you make, as this will be your customers first impression when they are looking at your menu, and a good opportunity to show the full range of your menu in one glance! -
For the individual item photographs you need to provide the food, crockery and suitable surface to shoot on. It is also useful to have on brand cutlery, condiments and other ‘props’ such as napkins, sauces, salt and pepper etc that can be used to style the ‘hero’ shot.

Images are delivered electronically in high resolution JPEG (.jpg) format. Each photo will be formatted for each of the delivery platforms that you use. A preview link will be sent of the photographs to review, you will then be sent a link to download the final images once final payment has been received.

All payments are accepted via bank transfer as per the details on your invoice. Price includes VAT.

Travel costs are dependant on each individual shoot location for costs such as parking, congestion charge. Millage is charged at 45p per mile where appropriate.
All travel costs will be made clear before booking deposit is required.
